Welcome to the brand new forum of H.O.P.E.!
A few members of our party decided that a forum was necessary for our party's development. It should be a place where all members can discuss important topics, chat and get to know each other and simply have a nice time. As this game is much more fun if you put more effort into it, this should be such a place for fun.
As a minor contribution to H.O.P.E., I made this forum. In this announcement I will explain how it will work and how it can help our party.
In the General-category, the one you're in right now, you'll find all sort of announcements about the forum: a new board, a new category, pleadings for more forum activity
There is also a board where every member of the forum should introduce itself. Just open a thread, say hello and tell everyone who you are. If you are already a H.O.P.E. member ingame, I will give you a Party Member - mask.
The second category houses the announcements from the current Party President. This could improve communication between members en president. 'H.O.P.E.'s points of view' should make clear to new members or guests what H.O.P.E. is all about. Our values and great expectations for eBelgium will be explained in here.
The other two categories are only visible for members with the Party Member-mask. This means that this is our own private section of the forum. It consists of a debate area, where all important sections of the game can be discussed. The Community board could be a place where we discuss who will be candidate for the upcoming congress, country president or party president elections. Candidates could make their candidacy public in here. Members can also discuss ways to advertise our party and how to attract new members. I think this board might be the most important one on the entire forum, as it really fills in a need, I think. In the Library you can post articles you have written yourself, or you have read and want your fellow party members to read. A great way to make sure the articles you've put time and effort in, will be read by as much people as possible.
The final category is the Fun Area, which can be used by everyone who want to chat and just have some fun. All spamming allowed!
Moderator-rights will lie with me, as admin, and with the party president, which should give this function some democratic control
. If it would show that two moderators is not enough, everyone is welcome of course.
The structure of this forum, as I explained above, the layout, all functions and restrictions, ... everything is open for discussion and nothing is carved into stone. If you have any recommendations, if you think some adjustments should be made or if you think I f****d up massively and this forum should be buried deep underground as soon as possible, please say so in this thread and just post your comments. You can of course also contact me by message ingame or on this forum.
